ACTIVITIES & ATTIRE

More information below. (Pool will be closed, sorry)

Food & Drinks: We will be providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the weekend. Sunday lunch we will have Jon Jon’s BBQ food truck that you can purchase meals from, all other meals will be covered by us. Meat and vegetarian options available for each meal. Water, iced tea, lemonade, orange juice, coffee, and soda will be included with meals. Alcohol will be provided for the Welcome Dinner and Wedding Reception. If you want snacks or alcoholic beverages outside of those meals, please bring your own and keep a cooler in your cabin.
Attire: For the wedding we would love to see everyone dressed up!! The rest of the time we recommend comfy clothes (gym clothes, shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, jeans, hoodies, old camp shirts, etc.) It is a camp with dirt and trails, so good walking or hiking shoes are recommended too.

The TRADITION
Growing up, the DeVore family always celebrated big milestones with a 3+ day party at the camp they owned. We always planned for the next big camp party to be Erin's wedding, so here it is!! We no longer own our own camp, so we are renting out Timber Pointe Outdoor Center (youth camp). This beautiful 160 acre camp is located right on Lake Bloomington. Eight kilometers of hiking trails, cabins right on site, etc. Not only will you have a great time, but this is a nice opportunity for Nick and Erin to spend more time with their guests.

OTHER STUFF
Common questions:

Are pets allowed at camp? No.

Is alcohol allowed? Yes. However, they don't want us walking around the camp with cans and glass bottles, so bring a water bottle or to go cup to pour it in.

Do I have to sleep at camp to join in the fun? No. Even though we would LOVE for you to stay at camp with us, it is ok to stop out for the day. Please indicate on the RSVP when you will be out at camp so we can prepare.

Can I sleep at camp even if I live locally?
YES!!!!! EVERYONE is invited to sleep out at camp even if you live 5 minutes away. We rented out the whole camp so we have plenty of room. Stay all weekend or just crash with us Saturday night. Just make sure you let us know on the wedding RSVP.
Can I bring a friend? This weekend is limited to only our wedding guests.

Will I have a cabin to myself?
Due to the number of people staying at camp, you will be housed with at least 1 - 2 other couples or families. We will do our best to place you with people you know and spread you out as much as possible.
Are there bathrooms in each cabin?
No. There are multiple communal bath/shower houses within walking distance of each cabin.
Covid: Masks are not required at this time, however you are welcome to wear one if it makes you feel more comfortable.
